Post: Seeking work in religious freedom area

Posted by William Brawner, bill@atlanticus.com, on 4/10/01
Please forgive me for intruding on your discussion.
My name is William Brawner. I graduated from Pepperdine Law
School late last summer. I have been working as a law clerk
in Elko, Nevada. Despite my best intentions, I have found
that I do not enjoy living in Nevada and would like to
leave.
I am a hard worker and am capable of working independently
as well as in a team. At present, I am looking for a law
clerk/legal researcher position. I am especially interested
in working to protect religious freedom and have taken
classes in Constitutional law and Constitutional torts.
If you have an opening for a law clerk or legal researcher,
I would appreciate it very much if you would consider me as
a possible applicant. I am including my resum้ at the bottom
of this e-mail. It is also available on-line at:
http://www.atlanticus.com/resume.html.
My boss in Nevada is a solo practitioner with a general
practice. While working for him, I worked on a wide range
of cases including, among other, bad faith insurance,
environmental torts, personal injury, administrative,
criminal, contracts and family cases. I have engaged in
legal research and the drafting of complaints, appeals, and
correspondence. I have also been involved in the discovery
process from start to finish. I have interviewed
witnesses; arranged depositions; tracked down leads to
admissible evidence; prepared discovery requests; and hired
expert witnesses.
I can be ready to start work with two weeks notice.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Respectfully,
William Brawner
