Unfortunately, the work force has ways of bending the truth to make it appear people were terminated for reasons other than the real reason. Of course they have not right to terminate you for your opinion. Your beliefs, religious system, opinion, and expression of such are all protected by the first amendment. But corporations wouldn't be what they are if they couldn't prove that they had better reason for termination. By all means, if you think you have a case, pursue it. But be prepared to lose. They will have other reasons for termination by the time the case hits court.
