the foid system is broken, i had a similar case to the last post (except the signing away of my gun rights for longer than my addmitance, i never sign anything unless i have no other choice) I was addmitted to a hospital for the de-toxification of perscription drugs, WHICH might i add i didn't abuse or mis-use, the drugs, which were give to me by my old doctor, for my mild a.d.d, and included a stimulant drug for signs of depression (both of which had warning not to mix with other drugs) in anycase i never became physically violent, i never threatened anybody and i never hurt myself, i simply became misarable and lost the will to apply myself to my acadimics and life and i dicided to detox myself under a controled situration (withdraw was a minor problem but i overcame it)anyhow long story short i'm only marking yes for that one question concerning medical help, yet i'm almost certain that i'll be denied my foid card, even though my father owns multiple guns, and my current doctor signed the form and noted that there is no reason i shouldn't be allowed to purchuse a firearm (the doctor which detoxd me signed it as well agreeing to) so i will have the approval of 2 high ranking doctors AND a current card holder, i have never been convited of anything or even been to court, i have never even had a traffic ticket for my motorcycle OR my car, and yet it almost certain that i will not be given my full 2nd admendment rights until i am 22 years old, ps *I have a friend who works at a gun shop and he put my name through the background check and i came back as clean as a brand new car, so in any of the surrounding states i can buy myself a handgun and rifle to go hunting with my friends*
