Actually -- in "D.C. v. Heller" the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals did agree that the 2nd Amendment applies to individuals and
D.C. gun restrictions violated the 2nd Amendment. This is the first federal court to rule in favor of gun rights advocates’
position in the history of the federal court system. Now the 2nd Circuit decision is before the US Supreme Court on appeal.
D.C. is appealing the decision and Heller is defending the decision.

I tried to encourage Mr. Guns to read up on this case because it actually does support his position on the Circuit Court level.
Unfortunately, the only position or opinion Mr. Guns can listen to is his own even if another opinion happens to agree with his.

I admit Mr. Gun's logic is a little paradoxical. He argues that legal opinions by judges don't matter then lectures us on the
value of consistent judicial precedent. (stare decises) Judicial precedent at this point is over 200 years of of court
decisions holding that the 2nd Amendment does not prevent states from exercising control over firearms as they see fit.

Again I am surprised that gun rights advocates are not vocal about "D.C. v. Heller" because it is the case that may support
their thus far rejected position on the 2nd Amendment. Since 1791 when the 2nd Amendment was ratified, no court has ruled in
favor of Mr. Gun’s interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. Now a court has ruled as he wants and the US Supreme Court is about to
have the final word on the issue but he appears to be completly unaware that a court actually has ruled as he thinks they should.

Really -- hasn't anyone noticed the huge elephant in the middle of the gun control room by the name of "D.C. v. Heller?"
