Okay, I think that a Valid Approach to Getting Congress to "revisit" this issue with the lautenberg amendment would be to Not Repeal the amendment as a whole, however to call for the amendment of the amendment! See the link at go petition.org that I will provide at the header of this message and sign the petition, i think that it will however allow for an exclusion and come to a common ground that everyone will be happy with. After all there are several cases where people have violated their protective order and how people have killed their spouses becuase of their "problems" or as result of the allegations of domestic violence. However you have to look at the victims rights as well as the rights of the accused and or convicted. Taking away everyones guns and making them subject to the lautenberg act or amendment is not only making it difficult for persons to own a weapon, however it also has put over 10,000 troops out of the U.S. Military Services, across all branches, and made it to where it is a serious issue for anyone that wishes to enlist in the military. However a person with a Felony Assault and Battery can stay in and also enlist in the U.S. Military and be able to stay in and retire. This has been proven and I have several people that are backing my petition, however I need he signatures, so read over the proposal and sign the petiton if you agree.
