If your Misdemeanor B involved any domestic complaint or if
it is considered a crime of violence, you may be unable to
own a firearm again. Crimes of violence include threatening
another person, assaulting another person or any other crime
that involves an act or threat of violence against another
person. Theft is not a crime of violence but robbery usually
is because it involves a threat of violence.
You can seek a full pardon which restores all of your civil
rights. This is very unlikely to happen unless you bribe the
governor. You could also seek a dismissal after a certain
number of years if your state allows such a remedy. Some
states do some don't.
