Post: Washington State gun rights

Is there anyone out there who could tell me if I going
about this right?

Here is my story! Back in 1995 I put a firecracker in a
mailbox and got 2nd deg arson-attemp. I know, I was
stupid. Anyways I went to the public safety building to
get my CPL and they said "no". Because of my charge as a
Juvinille, they told me to seal my records. comes to find
out that they were just milking money out of me. So now I
did the petition to restore my gun rights and now have a
court date on Nov. 2. Does anyone know if there is
something else out there that I need to do? Also does
anyone know why I was alowed all these years to purchase
rifels and shotguns but not handguns? If anybody can help
I would be very greatfull. Thanks Curtis
