Post: Questions on obtaining a FOID card

Posted by Jeff on 7/09/08

I was filling out a FOID card application and came across
the question asking if I had ever been adjucated as a
minor in a crime that if committed by an Adult would be a
felony. 11 years ago (when I was 15) I was convicted of
residential burglary, which is a felony, but have been in
no trouble since. I have since turned my life around and
even work at a bank now (so I am bondable), will this
conviction prohibit me from obtaining a FOID card?
