    Chad,
I am from missouri also, I am currently on 5 yrs probation for a
second degree assult, the answer to your question about the guy who
is currntly bow hunting i believe is from a different state.Every
state has its own laws & therefore different rules apply to people
in different states.I am also intrested in finding out exactly how
to go about getting my hunting prvilages back & I wan't to know if
it can be done while on probation?, the application i got from the
(ATF), site asks my probation officer's name ,address,& telephone
#. That indicates to me that there may be a posibility,my assult
resulted from a drinking & driving accident,i have no other assults
on my record & the person in the other vehicle was not seriously
hurt , just a ride to the hospital to be checked out.If anyone has
any advice i'd sure apreciate it .
    THANKYOU, steve
