Re: 2nd Amendment perspectives

It's been a while, but I checked back. OK, here goes - Joel, on a day-to-day basis here in Israel, that is, between citizen and citizen, the society here is much less violent than it is in the US. For normal, everyday people, it is rather difficult to procure arms, certainly much more than it is in the US. This "war of attrition" that I mentioned is being carried on between Palestinian terrorists, who do not live in the legal boundaries of the State of Israel, and are therefore not restricted when it comes to arms sales, and Israeli security forces. It is not between citizen and citizen. Ravage, First of all, anyone can say what they want about any place in the world. There are so many people pontificating to us here in Israel about what to do, that I do not feel it out of place to comment about what goes on in the US. Besides, I was born and brought up in the US, and retain US citizenship, and have many close relatives and friends there. It matters to me what happens in the States.
