Your voting rights, and all others are restored the day you
complete your sentence....EXCEPT FIREARMS RIGHTS! You will
never again be allowed to legally own any type of firearm.
The State of Texas will not under any circumstances restore
anyones firearms rights, and neither will the Federal
Government. Unless the laws are changed....we're all
permanently screwed! Even a full pardon or vacated
    conviction will not restore them!
