    Captain Mike's list below is inaccurate for many if not most
    states on the list.

    For example; Hawaii only allows a hand gun to leave the owners
    home or place of business if it is being transported to/from an
    authorized gun range or gun shop and the hand gun carried is in
    the trunk or a locked area outside the passenger compartment.

    In Hawaii, unlawful carrying of a firearm is a class B felony
    that carries a penalty of 10 years imprisonment. So take Hawaii
    off the list below.
