Post: restoring your rights after the fact 2nd ammendement

i joined the army in 1993 and in 1997 recieved a disorderly conduct over a fight with my wife, of which i did no harm other than marrying her, ha ha. after the incident we thought we try and work things out so i just plead no contest not knowing of this law and or its consequences (also not informed by the court at the time). well 5 mos ago i got a letter in the mail that says if i dont get this corrected or reduced i will be discharged within 120 days! at this time i was in the national guard, hell my commander wasnt even aware of this. remember 7 years have passed without question. but i was ablr to get the case reopened and the charge reduced to fly under the statute and stay in the military and continue hunting (legally now, because i had no idea i was illegal-i thought it was felont only). attorney tom johnson of new london, wi helped me. good luck to all who this pertains to.
