From the Defence Counsel and Detention Management Section (DCDMS)
United Nations -- International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda
(ICTR)
Arusha, Tanzania
We are looking for a professional with expertise in
alternative dispute resolution and legal aid to provide our
staff with specialised training in both areas. We are
currently in the process of switching from an hourly rate to a
lump-sum system for the remuneration of defence counsel and we
anticipate some disputes and conflicts. We would like to equip
our staff with the skills and knowledge to resolve such
disputes in a peaceful and mutually acceptable manner.
We invite applications from individuals or groups with the
wherewithal to provide the desired training in English and/or
French at our premises in Arusha in the short term.
