Post: Perjury

Perjury my ex-wife and i split up in Dec and things got nasty quickly. She took me to court in early February seeking a protection order against me for alleged abuse of her and my step child. I am an immigrant and if the order had been granted it would have kept me out of the USA for three years after I returned home to Ireland. She needed me bared from the country so I could not testify against her in a domestic violence hearing which she has coming up soon in Nevada. She was arrested there for punching me in the face a few times and in public. Anyway, the court ruled against her and the protection order was NOT granted. Soon after that her lawyer contacted my lawyer to say they were bringing a perjury charge against me if I ever came back to the USA. This stems from me being asked on the stand did I break three doors in the family home, I answered that I did not break them. However prior to this, and when me and my wife were together she was embarrassed that we had broken doors in our house and I told her that I would take the blame with any visitors we had. I told maybe two of her friends and the apartment maintenance man that I was the one who broke them. I told them that to save my wife any embarrassment. Her lawyer claimed back in February that he had sworn witness statements that said I broke the doors and this proved I lied on the stand. But actually I lied to these people to save face for my wife. I due back to testify this week and my ex continues to threaten me with a perjury charge and arrest (her dad is a cop to!) if I ever come back to the USA. My questions are: Should I be worried about this? Do they have grounds for a perjury charge? Shouldn't it have already been brought against me if they were going to do it? Can a Utah arrest warrant be served in Nevada, where I will be based? Thanks
