Post: DUI in Florida, no breath test

    Posted by curiousone on 5/26/09

I have a friend that was held overnight and charged with
DUI. They only administered a FST which he failed because
one of his legs is impaired from a previous accident and
multiple surgeries (which he tried to inform the officer
of this, but she didn't want to hear any of it and proceed
with the FST). They never administered a breath test nor
did they impound his car. When they released him they just
kept his license and gave him whatever paperwork the jails
    give you in this instance.

This doesn't sound kosher to me and I'd like your opinions
    on this.
