Post: Arizona DUI Court Pilot Program

Posted by Arizona DUI Attorney Daniel Jaffe on 5/24/06
Some Arizona courts have embarked on a newly mandated speed DUI program. Now more than ever, selected courts will be charged with pushing DUI cases through at speeds that make it virtually impossible for either side of the case to fully prepare. The good news for those accused of DUI in Arizona is that the prosecution will likely feel the crunch more than defense attorneys (private ones at least) because of their vastly larger case load. Now, more than ever, it pays to be an attorney who charges each client more, but takes fewer cases. The only way that I can see this ultimately hurting DUI clients is if they hire firms who take on too many cases, or lawyers that don't prep their Arizona DUI cases right from the start.
