FIRST THINGS FIRST, WHILE YOU MAY BE UNDERSTANDABLY DISCONCERTED BY SOME OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES-- I DETECT A NOTE OF SARCASM-- I AM TRYING TO LOOK FORWARD, NOT BACKWARD... THE RIO GRANDE HAS NOTHING TO DO HERE AS MY FIANCE IS NOT FROM A COUNTRY THAT REQUIRES CROSSING THE RIO GRANDE. SECOND OF ALL, I DO NOT PURPORT TO LOVE HIS COUNTRY-- IN FACT I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE NOR DO I SPEAK MUCH OF THE LANGUAGE. FINALLY, THE UNRELENTING REASON FOR MY PURSUIT OF THIS CASE IS THAT MY GIRLS ARE ENTITLED TO BE RAISED WITH THEIR FATHER, WHO HAS CLEARLY REALIZED THAT HE HAS A PROBLEM AND HAS TAKEN STEPS TO DEAL WITH IT AND EDUCATE HIMSELF AS TO THE ISSUES RELATING TO WOMEN IN THIS COUNTRY. ULTIMATELY, IT SHOULD NOT BE CAUSE FOR SARCASM, THAT I CALLED 911 ON ONE INSTANCE ... QUITE FRANKLY, IT WAS MY HORMONES GETTING THE BETTER OF ME AS I HAD JUST GIVEN BIRTH TO THE TWINS. EVEN SO, MY FIANCE HAS TAKEN STEPS TO MY SATISFACTION TOWARD REDEEMING HIMSELF AND I FEEL HE DESERVES A CHANCE...
