Re: Thank you, Hardy...

Well, Hardy, I didn't have my secretary check the posts, he was off for quite awhile. You are correct, women do an excellent job at the tasks you admire them for, and they do everything else, including jobs like yours, every day for less pay and while being expected to meet standards that no one will ever set for you. I am from South Louisiana, 'bout as far back as you care to go, and I tell you that a woman's place is any damn where she pleases. Your attempt at wit is, well, infantile, but if that passes for humor where you come from, so be it. When the day comes that you can give birth to a child, run a household, hold down a job, comfort and parent your spouse as well as your children, be put out to pasture for a younger model with little or no consideration for the time you invested in your spouse's education, profession, or career, and still carry on with your life, perhaps I will consider you worthy of respect. You get what you give. By the way, I have read W.C.Fields, and you are no W.C. Fields. But, since you are an endangered species, I guess you must be coddled and humored if not admired and respected.
