Hardy: In 1970, in the Bayway refinery Elizabeth N.J., a
large tank of gasoline explodes at the tank farm. Right next
to the Jersey turnpike. Alot of theorys about what happened
back then. Nothing had ever come to light. That was one hell
of a mess, like an atomic bomb exploded. People said (eye
witnesses) that they saw a small plane flying low over the
tank farm, they saw someone drop somthing out of the plane
window ontop of the tank moments before the tank exploded. So
many theorys. No answers. Those tanks don't explode that easy
where they just go off, just like that. The only other time i
saw one explode was incountry, when a rocket hit the fuel
tank, and the tank did not explode right away. First the
rocket exploded. There was a delay, maybe 5 to 10 seconds
before the roof of the fuel tank blew off. Too simalar to the
one in Jersey. Not to long after, i remember gas lines and
shortages. Hmmmm ........
