Post: PLEASE HELP GA TENANT IN DESPERATE NEED OF LEGAL ADVICE

hello,
my husband and I reside in Camden County GA.
we rented an apartment and have lived there for about 5
months. Our apartment is infested with black mold. there
is a hole in our kitchen closet, for the washer/dryer
hookup, which leads directly to outdoors. I have been
attempting to have landlord fix this problem for
approximately 1 month. He is not properly fixing damage.
It is consider toxic waste, and is extremely unhealthy.

we cannot stay in our apartment. Our landlord is being
hostile when we explain the problem is worsening, and is
not taking proper measures to eliminate problem.
Also, landlord had maintenece man attempt to fix problem.
handyman told me he explained this was not proper way to
remove the black mold to landord but he will not listen.

Isnt a professional suppose to do this?
How are we to live and pay for an apartment in this
condition?

Please help us!!!!!!
