I am the former Vice President of a private Club. I
recently resigned from that position due to extreme
differences of opinion. I was informed by a good friend
that a member of the Board of Directors had contacted him
asking questions about personal conversations between him
and I and if I discussed any business concerning the Club.
My friend was a former member of this club but has had no
connection to the Club for the last 3 years. My
questions...is this an invasion of my privacy? Is this
harassment? Should I ask the Executive Board of this Club
to reprimand her and demand an apology and demand that this
board member be told to stop this kind of activity
immediately. What can I do legally to get this person to
stop and leave me alone?
