Post: Bankruptcy/inheritance

I claimed joint chapter 13 back in 9/29/05,I recently
severed the chapter 13 to a chapter 7, because of a
marital separation. I recently found out that I am
recieving a small inheritance, that date of death is
1/19/03. My question is does the trustee seize the
inheritance? If so is there any way around a seizure?
