Post: Bankruptcy and Reaffirmation Agreements

The majority of the attorneys in my district insist that as debtor's counsel, we should always advise our clients against signing reaffirmation agreements. I disagree with this. I believe that in many cases, there are benefits to signing a reaffirmation agreement. If the client has stable employment and an adequate equity cushion in their home, I will usually advise them to sign a reaffirmation agreement. I seem to be one of the only attorneys who does this. Does anyone else advise their clients on the pros and cons of reaffirmation agreements?
