Re: BarBri or MicroMash Bar Review
Posted by Bonnie on 1/05/06

Hi..... between july of 1998 and february of 2000, I took
BARBRI and PMBR for the New York bar exam. It took me ** 4 **
read that, FOUR shots before I finally passed in 2000 (yay!),
and i've been working since then. But now I'm taking the NJ
bar exam in february of 2006. Now this will also be the fourth
time I'm taking NJ (took it in february of 1999, july of 2004
and july of 2005). i can't believe i didn't pass NJ all those
times, and to think, it's much easier than NY, only 6 subjects
(but now 7 with civ pro). now i don't want to take BARBRI
because of the investment of money and time (i have to go
almost every night to sit in four-hour classes in newark, which
will first of all put me to sleep, and second of all, leave me
with not enough time for working during the day and studying on
my own) not to mention that BARBRI didn't help me pass the NY
test three times before. i also have the PMBR books for the
multistate, but they're two years old, from the 2004 exam. now
that I look at my question, i'm so depressed, maybe i shouldn't
bother!! i guess my question is, does anyone think micromash
will help, if i really sit down with the books and study, or am
I just a bad test taker, and am I done for? thanks, bonnie
