we have been evected from our space, we tryed to get them
to release us from our lease because of the fact that it
was too far away from hame and was not making money in the
community that it was in. so we were going to move close to
home and where there was definitlly more of a market.( we
own a custom frame shop and art gallery, we is my wife and
I). I was advised by my mothers lawyer to take the
evection because thay were not going to release us, so we
did. we were explained to, that we had 10 days from our
last non payment of rent apperance( no money in the town
and we think that the land lord was driving away buisness.
Ill get to that later) we were informed that we had 10
days to pay the rent and if we did not then thay could file
for evection. well we started to move and got all of the
large things out in one day. than we were going to return
to get the remaining 2 weeks later( we both had to get
extra jobs to keep up with the lack of income from the
shop, so we had no time for 2 weeks) and we found that the
locks had been changed. and all of our things had been
removed. about $50,000 to 60,000 worth. then we went to the
court hause because there was a notice of eviction on the
front door. they called the officer that performed the writ
and he stated that when he came to perform it that the land
lord said that all the remaining things were customers
posessions and that they would take care of it. so he
left... wel all we wanted was to get our buisness moved and
they stoll all of our production equiptment. so we cant do
any thing. I have a felling that all of what they have done
is wrong but we need to get the ball rolling. this isnt the
only thing that they have done to us but this is what is
holding us up and screwing our income. somebody
pleeeaaassseee help!! we are working 60 hrs a week and
keeping ourselves up thinking about this I havent had a
good nights sleep for 4 mo. expecially if you are a lawyer
that can persue this for us in the wayne county area of
michigan...
