Post: Bankruptcy and Workman's Compensation.

Posted by Ron Gordon on 3/30/05
My brother's employer of 16 years filed bankruptcy to avoid the complications of dealing with the financial obligations surrounding the irreparable damage done to the lungs and life of six employees including my brother who now has a lung capacity of less that 20% and is barely hanging on. All health insurance disappeared. The jobs were all boiler room related. One of the employees has already died. Because of the bankruptcy, does my brother have any Workman's Compensation rights left?
