We are having a dispute over equiptment rental invoices
that we submitted to our general contractor for a
particular project. They have been refusing to pay the
invoices for almost five months and the equiptmant rental
company has filed a lein against the general contractor and
owner of the project. Now the general contractor is
threatening to take money from another project(different
state/different contract number) that we are doing and
apply it to the rental company lein. Can they do that? What
recourse do we have to try and get the orginal invoices
paid?
