Hello! I have a question on non-compete agreements for the
state of Maryland. I signed a non-compete agreement when I
sold my pet sitting business. I wrote the agreement myself.
It was never notarized nor was it witnessed. It was for a
period of 5 years and that I would agree not to manage or
own a petsitting company for that period of time in the same
county. I have 1 1/2 years left and I would like some
feedback on what penalties I may expect if I started a new
company.........of course if she choose to pursue her
options of the agreement.

OR
What would be a fair offer to make to her to allow me out of
the agreement.
