    I have seen CAS isn't used as often in some home warranty policies now.
    I think the problems with this co are becoming so well publicized, that
    they're finding the company is poison. Courts are deeming the CAS
    arbitration clauses unconscionable. The best thing would be to have the
    Arbitration Fairness Act pass in congress so that these clauses are not
    enforceable anymore. I do fear that people will still be duped into
    arbitration after a dispute arises, if they don't know how rigged it is,
    but we're making headway in consumer education about this issue. (Thanks
    in large part to the widespread abuses in credit cards, nursing homes,
    etc, that force arbitration in 'take it or leave it' fashion when people
    have to have these services.) Between the housing crash causing less
    demand for warranties, and the exposure of arbitration and co's like
    CAS, and NAF, I think these things are going to be history, but we're
    not done yet, we still have to get the law passed to stop them and
    educate consumers.
