Post: rental contract

Posted by anna on 1/22/07

I own a duplex rental property. both units are rented
currently under 1 yr lease agreements. The tenants know
that we have had the house up for sale since september.
We now have a contract to sell the house. The buyer has
asked the units be vacated 15 days after closing. Our
lease states that either party can terminate the contract
by giving 15 days notice with the deposits in favor of the
landlord. Are our tenants going to sue us when we give
them notice? Will they be successful? How should we go
    about the whole thing?
