Although I'm sure i know the answer, if I start making
trinkets or full weapons/outfit pieces based on video game
characters props or weapons and outfits, am I infringing on
someone's rights?

If yes, which I am positive is my answer... How in the
world do i ask for permission to sell these things, or try
to find out if i can discuss royalties or things of that
sort with someone representing these video games. if
necessary i am referring to games such as final fantasy,
legend of zelda, etc... by companies such as square enix &
Nintendo.
