In all Ed Brown's and his Sherrif's Department Detectives
have made over 51 retaliatory statements against the
U.S. Marines since January 1974. These statements
are recorded in at least 7 separate newspapers and
televised news stations.

To date though, The Onslow County Probation Officers,
and District Attorneys with Uniformed deputies have
each solved and cleanly convicted more criminals than
the entire detective staff has from 1972 until today.
(Every conviction based on the Sherrif's Detectives
was either overturned or had the sentence reduced
during appeals. The primary reason was "FALSEIFIED EVIDENSE")
