    In my neck of the woods they prosecute very aggressively in
    municipal court but don't see a whole lot of it in juvie.
    usually also send out a letter wanting payment to keep from
    filing a civil suit against you. What state are you in?
    you as parents may get the letter since you may liable for
    your son's actions. YOu did the right thing making him take
    responsibility for his actions alhtough it could make things
    a little rough if Wally world decides to prosecute. but at
    least he might learn a valuable lesson about what can happen.
