I'm a bit surprised he even laid a hand on you. I guess some
stores have different policies, alot have adapted "Hands off"
policy. Anyways, just pay the civil demand; if you don't you
could find yourself in court. You may be able to return to
the store, most of the time a trespass is just an empty threat.
