You did not make a "mistake." You made a deliberate
decision to commit a crime. Employers, landlords, etc., are
entitled to know that you are the type of person that either
poses a risk of committing another crime or has such bad
judgment that you make those types of "mistakes." You are
proving that with your post. Rather than accepting
responsibility for your past and making the best of what you
have, you try to excuse it as a "mistake"--and we're somehow
supposed to assume that it will never happen again. My short
answer to you, my friend----B*llsh*t.
