I happened to be home this morning and just got a call from this
number. Indeed, there was about a three second period of
silence before someone on their end spoke. Seems like auto-
dialing. In addition, I suspect they're creditors. The person
they asked for used to be a friend, who I haven't seen in three
years. This person never lived with me, and he was pretty
irresponsible. Wouldn't surprise me if he listed my phone
instead of his, and he now has more money problems and they're
trying to collect.
