Re: Harrassing phone calls - what can be done?
Posted by C Flemings on 2/02/07

I tried the 877 number that was given. It is INDEED Capital One
services. I spoke to a rep and told her what was going on. She
said it was likely that the auto-dial system was messing up. I
told her that I did not have a Capital One card, nor did anyone in
my house. I have had this phone number for 3 years, so there is no
reason for anyone to be calling here. She said that she did not
have the authority to remove my number, but that she would gladly
give my FIRST name and phone number to her manager to remove my
number. We'll see what happens! She says I shouldn't receive the
    calls anymore.
