Re: Harrassing phone calls - what can be done?
Posted by John Buck on 4/04/08

Being a victim of E-theft, I had a card taken for a ride when I
signed up for Paypal, to the tune of 6,560.03 and the Fraud
Division of Washingon Mutual calling me at 07early, to tell me I
had been using my card in an erratic fashion, and cosequently
they blocked my transactions. After going to the Bank and having
to wait for readout to GET TO the Bank for my perusal, THEN
SHOWED THE CUTOFF OF MY ACTIONS ON THE CARD. Luckily the last
influence I made was a weird number that stood out for gasoline.
After 5 months they tracked down the Canadian town of Quesnel
where a computer fanned out my number to 31 slaves that then
purchased small increments of value; 9.99, 16.50, 32.50........
then at the bottom of the morning stepped up to 2,350 and
similar volumes until they were cut off. A 'turn-key' motor was
attempted until it was swooped away. The bank gave us a $150 for
    our troubles.
As for harrassing phone calls, monitor with a system called Star
69, or you can get IN/OUT phone records, which have all verbage
from both parties, then, when you file against the party, THEN
THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR PAIN, SUFFERING, LOST WORK, A SUICIDE, AND
    ALL COURT COSTS.
I had a redirected phone number call me automatically -
harrassment not from the phone number - but redirected by a man
I sued in court. The State Farm Company where it originated from
knew nothing about the phone irritant, but was notified by the
Detective ($454) with the blanket of summons. BEEP-BEEP=BEEP-BEEP
