Re: Harrassing phone calls - what can be done?
Posted by m on 7/10/07

best way to get rid of us is actualy to just asnwer our questions,
    here they go
Do you know this person? no
Oh im sorry did I dial this number? yes
Is this perhaps a new number for you? oh yah have had it like 3
    weeks
Makes sense, I'll remove your number so we dont call you back, but
can I ask just for a first name, or even a FIRST INITIAL just so I
can document that I did speak to you and that infact this IS a
    wrong number? Sure! its M

how hard is that? now, again its lame when you guys call US, the
877# when there may be more than one company calling you. and we
do apologise if your number is entered into our system more than
once, just help us out again and we will remove it for the second
time and for good. theres no reverse psychology, and technicaly if
you do say you are who we are looking for then you are putting
yourself at risk for fraud charges. Everything we do is legal by
the states you are living in. We have certain talk offs, certain
protocals to do when we speak to people, and theres no fooling us.
Just help us and we will help you
