They usually have one year to file charges. If charges have
been filed and you've been arraigned, you're bound to show for
the hearing. If you fail to show, multiple warrants will be
issued for your arrest.
Certain Statute of Limitations are based more on the crime
itself rather than if it is a misdemeanor or felony; and you
have some serious charges pending against you.
In many cases, SOL would not even apply and the warrant will
be enforceable until you're arrested, turn yourself in, or
pass away.
