I received a traffic ticket for driving around a cone
(disregard of a traffic control device) in April of 2005. I
contested it b/c the street was so poorly marked I didn't
know what else to do. They called me in to "settle" (pay a
portion of the fine with six months of deferred
adjudication) in March of 2006. I still thought that it
wasn't a fair citation, and so I did not take the
settlement (on principle :) ). It's been over a year since
the original ticket, and I haven't heard from them. Will
this expire at some point and result in dismissal?
