Post: Target retail theft FIRST charge, help!!!!

my bf and i were stupidly caught stealing some games because
money was tight. i am really freaked out this is my fist
offense and i will never do it again. they brought the cops
in and everything idk wuts going to happen. i kno i have to
go to court and pay a fine but idk how much to expect. i
live in utah. if theres anyone who has advise please let me
know!! will i have a record forever?? or can this go away
once i've paid. PLEASE HELP!!
