Post: 2nd offense shoplifting charge in utah

Posted by girlsquest on 9/03/09

I got shoplifting about 150 dollars of merch a few months
ago. I was detained, arested and handcuffed while being
read my rights. I got sent home and got a court date.
however, before I even went to that court date, I got a
knock on my door from a cop this afternoon with him
telling me another store witnessed me stealing 20 dollars
of merch and to expect a court date in the mail. my
questions are... should I mention the other shoplifting
crimes in either court dates? (they took place in
different counties) will this be my second strike (even
thought I wasnt read my rights, handcuffed etc) will I be
able to apply for a nursing license with a few
misdemeanors on my record? and thats another thing, will I
be given misdemeanors on either, or will the 2nd offense
determine me going to jail. I really dont want to lie to
the judge by withholding information, but if I dont have
to volunteer the information I would rather not either.
please help, i am losing my mind. thanks
