I am an ex-Macy's employee who worked in one of the lease
department areas at the store. I quit the first of the
month in December, on pretty bad terms with my lease
manager. I was recently called from the LP manager from
Macy's saying that I need to come in to have a talk. They
didn't tell me what it was about, but I am sure I know what
it is about. When working there the manager and I would use
each others associate numbers to return items that we
purchased. The items were always in the store at the time
of return, but sometimes we wouldn't take the item down to
the area we bought it from and would just do the return in
the others number at our register. Even if they were not
working that day we still used each others numbers. I am
sure this is what it is for and I am sure the manager is
saying that she knew nothing of this since i left on bad
terms with her. What do you think is going to happen? I
haven't gone in yet to see what it is about but I am really
nervous.
