Two years ago, I left AZ without permission while on
probation for a charge of possession of less than 1/2 gram
cocaine that was reduced to a conviction of possession of
drug paraphanelia. I had a drug use problem and was not
passing urine tests on a regular basis and probaation
officer was threatening to revoke and send me to jail. I
got scared and left to return to parents to get help to get
straight. I now live in SC and want to turn self in and
clear this up. There may be a warrant for arrest in AZ.
What should I do? Also, it is almost impossible to get
employment with this felony conviction in my background,
even though I need only one year of college to complete a
bachelor's degree in buisness. Is it possible to get my
record expunged once I turn self in, pay fines, and serve
time or finish probation terms?
