If Stallings had a stroke, I sincerly wish him the best and a
speedy recovery. However, I wouldn't trust him even as far as
I could throw him. I am just glad I transferred and got a
tuition refund just days before the bar shut him down (I
actually found out about it on this chatboard, rather than
from the school, for which I am very greatful to the other
posters here). Do what I did and send everything certified
mail and overnight it---the FYLSE deadline is coming fast for
you. Don't trust anybody, especially lawyers (and that is
coming from someone who will hopefully be one soon).
Oh, and I would seriously consider that you quickly have your
bar study reviewed and certified by the California Bar. I
think mine cost $100, and you can use it later if there is
anything fishy about them certifying or transferring your
credits.
I am not a lawyer and do not give legal advise. This post is
based on my personal experience and is not intended to be a
substitute for legal advice from a licensed professional.
Best of luck!
