Re: LL.M degree will not get you bar admission
Posted by Think about it on 9/29/08

    Guys & Gals,

LD's banter appeals to the "want-a-be" quasi-lawyer types, they think they can get a 5th rate DL law school
education from a school like Novus and then practice SSA administrative law carving out a meager living of
    $150k per year.

True it can be done, but only with a lot of hard work. But you don't have to take classes at Novus Law school
to get in on that game. Any paralegal with a BA degree that takes a couple of SSDI seminars and passes the
SSA "demonstration project exam" will get certified for direct payment by SSA and recieve fees from SSA just
    like any lawyer.

Really when you think about it a Novus law school degree is only good for quasi-law practitioners who can't or
    won't take a bar exam.

Well Bulley for them if that makes them happy. I'll take the narrow road and plow my living out after I pass
the bar. Good luck "quasi-lawyer types and may your practices be fruitful!!!
