Post: Due process and/or age discrimination

I was terminated by the Texas Tech health Sciences Center after only 20 day on a psychiatric unit for leaving work 5 minutes early on a Friday. No previous counseling on my job performance and absolutely no idea that I was suddenly going to be terminated. i am an RN and 67 years old. Administrator did ask to see my drivers license the day after she hired me. At present I have a complaint in with the EEOC, but it is now more that 6 months and no reply. Was I due Due Process? The university has NO probation period, and I had successfully worked for them at a prior time for around 9 years. It is almost impossible for me to now find work due to my age. Can anybody help me? Thanks.
