I share custody of my son. I claimed him as a dependant on
my 2002 tax return. Now the mother wants half of my refund
check. She also suggested that we both split the tax
credit, in our case is $450 (3,000*tax bracket). Is this
correct. I suggested that I do my taxes both ways,claiming
him (which I filed)and not claiming him and split that
difference. Anyone have any advice?
